lowlancer
Yeah what a frother eh. Rolled a MK6 Golf GTi for a minute, otherwise it's mitsys all the way down for me. Partner thinks I'm mental but as long as I promise to fix the house for her she seems alright with it. Probably a familiar story in these hallowed pages.

I reckon they have a neat shape - clearly pretty rudimentary but kinda charming. Not ugly, not beautiful, just workhorses and look as such,

lowlancer
Anyone hazard a guess what these steels are off? I rather like the style. Also, SWB rules.

RUNAMUCK
6 stud wheels are the best. Literally that extra stud moves the decimal point in the price tag over at least one place. Its insane how worthless they are. 1
lowlancer
Hey team, wondering where everyone sources interior upholstery fabric from? My partner is keen to get involved and help with tidying the inside up. She has tracked down an outfit, but it looks $$$ for what we are thinking (vaguely 70s/80s houndstooth or similar). Washed the thing over the weekend and uncovered more crustiness - a welder will be a purchase in my near future so any recommendations for a beginner appreciated. tortron
I used simple green, a water blaster, a nylon brush on a drill and a carpet shampooer vacuum with a hand attachment to clean out dank nissan. Waterblast your carpets till they run clean, you will be surprised

lowlancer
Hi all - have uncovered some rust in the passenger side A pillar. Was considering investing in a welder to give it a crack but seems a bit OTT. Anyone got a good contact based in north Auckland/North Shore? Or want to do a cashie? Cheers! Will have an update after the weekend on the old gal
Nominal
You can get radiators recored but every time I show up at a radiator shop the old boy whistles through his teeth and says it's gonna be expensive, and what do you know, it is!
JustHarry
Don't expect much change from 1k to recore a rad that size. Might be cheaper to find a alloy plastic tank one that's close and make it fit

lowlancer
Yeah ok, no recore then. That's insane, I think I paid $150 for a new core on my old Celeste, circa 2004. I'll drop by Silverdale Radiators this week and see if they have any suggestions.

Yeah that's definitely the best option is to talk to the guys who actually know and they'll probably help you sort something
