PJDeezy Posted April 18, 2022 Posted April 18, 2022 Hey guys have not had much luck on superlow springs for the o'l wagon, i realise there is not a superlow listed but could other fellow members share some knowledge on springs they have used. Tristan had an old green one on here few years back but didnt say what springs he used. I have found some shortened rear shocks but also wanting to know what shortened insert shock up front to use to get nice and low. Would like it sacked. Some say superlow e30 bmw and others say Golf front springs. Any help would be appreciated thanks everyone Quote
Taistorm Posted April 19, 2022 Posted April 19, 2022 Contact chamberlain auto springs im Christchurch. They make cobra springs and can set them up however you like. Quote

Dylan01 Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 I’m also having trouble with my 1981 sigma sedan front shocks, iv herd kp60 starlet shocks will fit but not sure. Iv ordered new cobra springs to the right measurement but they seem to be just short of my original shock. Any idea how I can get around this issue? Quote
Thousand Dollar Supercar Posted October 4, 2025 Posted October 4, 2025 @bigfoot might have lowered a Sigma of this generation? Quote
lush Posted October 11, 2025 Posted October 11, 2025 Get feral with it Cut what needs to be cut, weld that shit up It's a sigma there is no bolt in options I'm sure sw20 mr2 inserts where the shock insert of choice but also may depend on your shock tube size as there's differences. Isn't there a seedy al build thread on shortening shocks? You want that shit low anyway my guy The Mitsubishi gods will be proud Quote

lush Posted October 11, 2025 Posted October 11, 2025 Obviously that is for coilovers but same principle for shortened shocks, just sleeve it and plug weld for extra strength. Quote
