My car was liberally fish oiled by the panel beater I used a long time ago. Now that I'm re-restoring it, I need to remove a lot of it. I hate this stuff.

Does anybody have any good tips for efficiently removing it?

Do you need to remove it? .. Fish oil does a good job of denying rust a start..

Hi guys.  I've just done a job on the inside front door of my 80 series.  I tried turps, isopropyl alcohol and white spirits.  The winner? - white spirits.  Just had to use a number of rags to wipe away the old fish oil and a bit elbow grease, plus a of scrubbing with a brillo pad.  Worked a treat.
