Changed the engine oil on the support vehicle and somehow caused a coolant leak.  Spent an hour replacing the transmission pan gasket and it still leaks. Valve cover oil leaks are getting spicy.  Knocking noise from the rear is getting worse and the alarm sometimes does crazy things so I cut the siren out.

Basically, it's up to an appropriate standard for this adventure

@johnnyfive giz spare second bike plz? Scoot crapped out again and lack of talent to fix. If not I’ve got a dodgy ct200. Looking forward to side of the Rd sausage

Bring CT200 anyway and we can make a selection of the crappers for the trailer and pick the best for riding the whole way.

Yeah I was relieved when he called, with the intention of honouring our booking, and not telling us to fuck off.

I challenge @keltik and @Thphantum to see who can get the best fuel consumption.

On that topic, we're gonna need gas money everyone so bring your TWENTY FUCKIN BUCKS to keep these thirsty bois running.

So after destroying  barrel and piston on Sunday on shakedown I made some phone calls and rode to Carterton to get new second hand piston Barrel and rings etc.

rebuilt last night and increased jet sizing in carb trying to riches so it doesn’t happen again.

but with much regret, My clutch is gone. I’ve run around town all morning and the only clutch plates available are in Auckland

so the RGV it will be, here’s a photo of the AG being left behind.
