Liam 4AGE Posted May 11, 2021 Share Posted May 11, 2021 I am trying to find a dizzy for my small port 16v 4AGE red top and am wounding dose the black and silver tops one fit the red top or are they different and also can you fit a big port dizzy on a small port. Stu Posted May 12, 2021 Share Posted May 12, 2021 Silvertop and blacktop have physically different distributors. Also the early bigport ones have 4 tooth reluctor pickups inside inside rather than single tooth that the redtops have. If your using an aftermarket ecu you can make a bluetop/bigport dizzy work, but stock ecu doesn't like it much even if you grind the teeth off.
