Fairly certain these are supposed to have gap for slide, flex and stuff...

That's what I was wondering 

Would explain why the spring is a bit floppy 

Side note

Making bolt together spring clamps is hot rod magazine/ car craft from the 90s type of drag racing tricks, clamping the front part of the spring pack can help stiffen the spring and reduce wrap

Looks like this assembly, and rubber mounts that could lower if i could make them more shallow but retain the bolts , haha noo im not messing with that id like to be able to drive it still, may look at getting a guy to reset/heat the leaf, but its already pretty flat as it is

Just on the diff stuff, I don't know how easy they are to get now but I got an LSD H190 from yahoo Japan a number of years back, was out of a QK30 Nissan Crew and it looks to have the thicker flange, 3.7 from memory.

Nah awesome panelbeater did it for $50 so its passed wof now, he just welded it back up haha, yea i should habe made it look factory ... but i doubt it is 'structural damage', cheers for lsd option ive got welded 4.3 head and 4.1 open atm swapping them all the time sux but ive got it down to half hour exercise now haha
