Does the tank need to be higher than the radiator or set low okay since should work on pressure? No real room for up high would be half way down radiator on side of engine bay. Yowzer Posted July 23, 2020 Share Posted July 23, 2020 Nope, doesn't need to be higher. Most overflow tanks are mounted lower than the rad fill point. Just make sure you have the correct cap for a recovery system as there's some difference between and total loss cap and a recovery cap.
