Hey y'all, I'm really keen to get the word out there about this event, so if you're on Facebook, can you please share the event? Here's the link: https://www.facebook.com/events/612246929706797/

If you're at a loss for things to say, here's a canned post :) .

The oldschool.co.nz drags are coming back to Meremere on December 12th 2020. It's always a fun and relaxed day at the drag strip with a huge variety of cars and bikes in attendance. All old cars are welcome to enter (1989 and earlier) and your car doesn't need to be fast to have fun. Click the event link for more info.

I'm going to be there whether racing or not, but looks like I will have the car ready to enter this year. Will also share it around to others.

Should be sorting a WOF on my car in the next few weeks, will hold off entering until then.

But will be there regardless.

Probably won't race that much, am happy to help out on the track again if needed.

So I really wanna take my golf down, by European standards it's oldschool (I mean it's 10 years old after all..).

Should I wait and see how many spots fill up and sneak in at the last minute if there's places left or what? I'm happy to sit this one out if it's too offensive to bring along but also wanna make sure the event keeps going well into double digits.

Bring it along. Contributing oldschool members will never be turned away, no matter how modern their car is.

Half our events are usually attended by daily drivers anyway.

How many entries do we need for this to not be cancelled?

I was planning to come as a helper but can enter a bike to make up numbers.

I plan on entering once this engine fires and makes no funny noises.

Really looking forward to doing oldschool things again!
