Thanks man, really appreciated. But I just ordered those parts the other day.

Probably looks no different, but slowly solving problems and taking it from Instagram ready - to closer to actually going.

I made a brake pedal, pin. The front fender mounting hardware was all made from scratch (still needs some work).

Exhaust is on the way, lots of other parts too.

Been chipping away at this in the background. Slowly fixing all the shitty stuff, clutch, gear cables, electrics and wiring, carburetor, brakes, etc etc etc...

There's fuckloads to do, but im enjoying it a lot. Things that go are much cooler than things that don't.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with this.

So I ordered an exhaust from mbike, but unfortunately it wasn't a bolt on fit. It hung so low it touched the ground. Bit ko problems...just solutions. I cut it up and welded it back together the way I wanted it to go, running super tight to the frame. Gained 60-80mm clearance and looks bitchen! Win/win.

These rear sets have not been easy. I've re engineered both sides, and spent longer than I'd care to admit (probably upwards of 10hrs) machining up adapters, pivot arms, linkages, stand off etc. I can count 18 different parts that I've had to make in order to get both sides to function.

Would I do this again...ummmm...not so keen. I made my harley forwards controls and they look a lot more impressive, but took half the time. These have been a right cunt of a job.

But hey...its basically done now. So the pain will be long forgotten in a few weeks time.

Amongst all the big jobs, I get the occasional win with a small job like this key bracket.

I always think of project binky, and how making any type of vehicle is basically a collection of brackets. I now appreciate a good bracket more than most.

More brackets, witj rubber isolating bushes. I had to use the motor as a "sky hook" to attach the other brackets too, that are fixed to the chassis. Never a great idea - so the isolating bushes will hopefully stop bad things happening as the two play tug of war.20260412_134037.thumb.jpg.3cea37ba6518563330414aa6624d194e.jpg
