Got it welded up. Stood on its own wheels for a hero photo outside.

Still lots to do, but its shape is locked in now.

And a new 125cc lifan motor.

This has the semi auto clutch/gearbox. So a much better choice for this project.

Made a chain guard for it this morning. All part of my mantra to try achieve something no matter how insignificant as often as possible.

I added more support to the fender, witj an extra (hiden) mounting point.

Keeping the fender detachable, as #chopper4life.

I made an offset sprocket to help account for the chonky rear wheel.

The straight edge shows its pretty close now.

Its fully welded on the back, then turned in the lathe for chain clearance. I added a couple welds on the inside, but was mindful of the retainer and it requiring room to twist on/off.

And pretty much ready for paint...

Quick project to get a sense of accomplishment. These longer projects are really draining, as you put in the hours and appear to get nowhere with them. So getting a quick win is energising.
