Adding in some extra support, to reduce the cantilever on the lower arms if the hardtail.

My bramley tube bender can only do things wall tube, so I'm using 1.6mm wall 25mm OD furniture tubing. Its a bit thin for long spans, so adding a seat post like a harley frame effectively triangulates the rear, shortening the moment.

The top will get tied into the frame too.

Small steps...

Waiting on wheels and tyres. I think ive fucked up the order on my rear rim, which I suspect won't be wide enough to take the more chonky tyre ive also ordered.

Im a bit gutted about the rim, as that would have been a bit step forwards. But no problems just solutions... I'll find something that works.

Went full retard on these foot pegs and brake pedal etc today. Kinda lost the plot putting this amount of effort into something like this...but here we are.

I made up a gig, tacked it all together after lots of fucking around, measuring again and again.

I don't have the rear wheel yet, so used math to determine interferences etc. I fucking hope my math is good...

I stole the wheel off the white Dax so I could set it up and roll it around.

The actual wheel will be slightly fatter and taller again, but this will do for mock ups.

Kinda went too big on the rear. Ill split the difference between tyres, probably go 120/90 r10. As this 130/90 r10 is too wide and will cause chain clearance issues and too tall to fit fenders.

Im not a huge fan of sissy bars to be honest. But it was the easy way out in this situation. Performing multiple tasks and it doesn't get much easier to make than this.

I kept it medium/low to try balance the front proportions wise.

Im happy, it holds my fender on, license plate, and stop light. Calling it a win
