Daves a great guy but he crashed into 2 bikes on the first day and almost buttholed off a few times. I think the whole appeal of this is people taking stuff that isn’t designed for it to have fun. Others may disagree and they’re welcome too. But this ride would be easy on a big bike. Which defeats the whole purpose. Dave’s great but that’s a Dave being a moran thing not a bike thing xox see you there

It's the atc125 for my ct90, was just going to give it a quick freshen up but it's been run out of oil and wrecked it. The original 90 is pretty poked and is way too slow with my weight. I don't really want to buy a bike as it would only be used for this ride. If its OK to use my xr250 Baja then I'll just use that
BLIZZO
yea @00quattro00 the Baja would be fine man. I took my XR250r as a backup bike last year but didnt need it in the end so it stayed at J5s place. Im riding an XR200r swapped CT (your old one) so its not that different really.
BLIZZO
like yea you will probably be waiting for people to catch up a fair bit and shit. but i have to do that anyway just cos im a silly cunt. You will still have fun and sink heaps of tins and THAT, is what this ride is all about. / Lifan your CT

They do one narrow enough to fit my 1.4 wide wheels, but not sure if I'll be able to find any in NZ I Run SR241's on my Suzuki A100 and they're gold. They won't always fit in your front fender though, as mine didn't. SO had to ditch the chrome special and replace with a UFO vintage dirt bike fender bolted to underside of the lower tripple clamp. Careful not running front fenders if your wiring loom hangs low, otherwise you'll do what I did and wear the insulators off the wires on the wiring loom when you bottom out the front, which you will on shitty old suspension. I can confirm that there will be more in at the end of the month. I'll be snapping up 2 of them myself. There were 2 indent orders last year, one for 5, and mine for 8. So clearly Whites realised people wanted them!

Whilst SR241's are a mad dog tyre (and can definitely fit a 1.4 wheel - main issue is fitment between forks and/or guards) There are other options available. Well there is one option. You can get these: Available in 2.50/2.75/3.00x18. Also available in 2.50/2.75/3.00x18 Also soz. But the NZ supplier will only have a couple of SR241's till later this month because I just ordered most of them. TOP TIP: Use heavy duty 17" tubes for max non flat tyres. Wait, have you pre-ordered the SR241's from the order that's coming in later this month? EDIT, i'm being a retard. You mean the current stock they have. Sweet. I'll fight you over the 18's!!
