rb drifter
I've got a 4g63 carburetor and currently have a Carter 6psi fuel pump which I believe is too much for the little two liter shit box so I want to run a regulator, question is do I go 1-4 psi or 4- 12psi one I'm leaning more towards 1-4psi but with no return line will this wear out the pump? Cant find any low psi regulators with return line. Otherwise if anyone knows exactly what psi my carb should have I'll look at getting a different fuel pump. 4g63 sohc 8 valve carby motor. Taistorm
I have a holley fpr that was used on a 13b setup. Might be suitable if you're interested.
azzurro
Weber & dellorto carbs like low pressure high flow, assume the mitsi carb will be the same? 2 to 4Psi max otherwise the needle valve has trouble controlling the fuel level in the float bowl, resulting in running issues. A 6psi pump with a 1-4psi reg will be fine i reckon
rb drifter
Yeah well currently it keeps fouling the sprakplugs so I'm guessing your on the money there, will look more into the carb too but it ran fine on my other motor. Cheers
rb drifter
Have ordered a 1-4psi regulator so hopefully this works.
