Might have time to

1. Pick up new car from other end of country

2. Carry out engine swap

3. Fit new suspension and wheels

Keen for a track day in whatever I have running

Edit: just saw the 2021 part. Somebody slap me if I don't have something ready

Depending on how everything pans out, this sounds like an event I would love to attend even if just to take some snaps as it is unlikely I would have a car available/easier to fly from the bottom of the world than bring the FD or whatever else up.

Yay trackday! I'd be keen to bring my Jag and spin out repeatedly. Friday would be no problem.

Do you have a theme in mind for the type of entrants you'd like to invite? A friend of mine who's not on oldschool is currently throwing money at an EK9 Civic Type R.

Hopefully my 3S powered machine will be ready for this too.

@kpr @Stu @Snoozin - get those 4AGEs ready.

Attended the last one, dead keen to come along again.  Might maybe possibly have the new engine in the MX5 by then and I can spend the day trying to make rods come out.

It will be rad to see a lot of the same faces along. What are all your thoughts on doing a 10 lap race for the cars with cages?

also so thinking of maybe an hour or 2 Of frack time dedicated to time attack style hot laps for non caged cars.

keep things mixed up for the drivers so it’s not just a day of cruising

The idea of a race really excites me, but I’m not sure how the motorsport park would view it. Technically you can’t run anything competitive without a motorsport permit for insurance and liability reasons.

We’d probably need get away with an unofficial rolling start race though....

I'm equally as interested to see if an 'individual' can hire the track,as last time I looked only a Car club could
