Beaver Posted November 1, 2025 Author Posted November 1, 2025 Shiny shoes back on, and dropped front a touch more to level it out. 8 Quote
Beaver Posted November 1, 2025 Author Posted November 1, 2025 Looking back at some old photos, can see how much it's come down in height 8 Quote
kp60nick Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 These are super jacked from factory. I notched my last one I was able to have 4 inch reset springs 2 inch lowering blocks front eye relocation 195/50r15 and with 2 inch drop spindles in the front. Still wasn't low enough so I flipped the load spring in the rear got it to about 60mm of ground clearance. The ride was surprisingly nice. Only problem is the wheels are quite far apart and would bottom out on everything. Looking good btw! 1 Quote
Beaver Posted November 2, 2025 Author Posted November 2, 2025 Yeh the front hangers may be problematic given how far they hang down, they currently have 70-80mm clearance. Quote
Popular Post Beaver Posted June 16 Author Popular Post Posted June 16 Its that time of year again - wof is due. So why not buy some more wheels! Always been a fan of these (OG terrano steelies). The chrome works well with thr back bumper, now just need front bumper to match. 12 1 Quote

But it still didn't fit, so i cut it some more. ANd it also looked pretty whack. Then I moved house and really wasnt in the mood to cart it around, so it actually ended up at the tip....sorry the break the news. Terrible purchase on my behalf, but I will forever be greatfull for your services! 2 Quote
Bearded Baldy Posted June 19 Posted June 19 I put a heap of no more nails on some old roof flashing and weighed it down with scrap timber on my old one. Took timber off after a couple of days and it was sealed sweet as haha. Obviously matt blacked to hide the sinning. Was single cab with 7ft tray, and the mighty sd23. Rolling coal it still got somewhere around 8l per hundy and was slower than my old morris. Tldr... canopies don't have to fit properly! Bahaha Should add mk1, was free so put it on to keep hunting gear dry... 2 3 1 Quote
