SOHC
I got a new screen as it has some kind of module on the back witch might be bad but it’s not compatible with our Japanese import
SOHC
Fuck this shit, spent all day on it, OBD2scanner I had wouldn’t work with the car
SOHC
I am told the CD player has all the controls for the AC and screen built into it for some cars? Has G T Mechtronix Ltd closed down?
Alfashark
Correct, my Superb had all that jazz... As for GT Mechtronix, try emailing them in a week or two. Seems like they have a remote office offsite and one little geezer doing all the leg work at the workshop itself, so he's probably taking a well earned rest. SOHC
I can buy for from Japan, but can you confirm the prosesso for the screen is in the CD?
Bling
Have you contacted Nissan? They likely won't be able to help, but you never know who you'll get on the phone. They may have documentation for the NZ equivalent which may provide some help. How many wires going from the console with buttons, to the CD drive? I rang a few auto sparkys and wreckers and they seem to think the CD is the root of the problems, not meany wires go from the bit with the buttons to the CD, but the whole lower half of that panel is for the CD
Bling
In that case might have to buy a CD unit and hope for the best. I did that last year with two parts (interior bits) from Japan, can't get them here, one worked, one didn't, cost a fair bit but zero other options really. SOHC
Installed the new CD and it didn't fix the problem but got put in contact with a guy who runs an audio shop who sed he has fixed this problem 3 times by replacing th GPS CD ROM witch is infront of the driver. Missis wants to give up on the car but I will show her how I will fix it even it it costs a huge amount
