Popular Post Jordan_L
Recently collected my latest project... A 1972 Toyota Crown MS75 Custom Coupe. One of just a few known to exist in the UK. Previous owner had it since 1979, sat since 1990. Aiming to make it useable, then make it mint at a later date. If anyone has contacts for parts it would be appreciated. 26
Popular Post Jordan_L
Very clean in the floors apart from the rear arches which is a massive surprise and bonus - offset by a seized engine and no brakes

Jordan_L
Made use of a couple of spare hours today - engine out, sump & oil pump off. Presuming its seized on the rings as theres no evidence of anything drastically wrong.

Jordan_L
Top arm refitted with the polybushes and new balljoint installed. Also mockfitted the front hub/shocker/lower arm, while waiting for the lower control arm bushes to arrive. Everything seems to fit as it should which is reassuring.

Jordan_L
A few hours with a wire wheel and the front end of the chassis is now fully primered/undersealed, all the front suspension items given the same treatment too. Hopefully get the front end rebuilt over weekend and move on to something else.
Jordan_L
Still waiting on some bushes to be able to rebuild the front end, so I set off repairing the small hole in the inner rear arch. 10 minutes later and things had escalated: Managed to make a start and do the first patch today.
Jordan_L
The lower control arm bushes arrived from Thailand yesterday, with these fitted I've been able to rebuild one of the front corners, including using a home made spring compressor.

Jordan_L
Windscreen out in one piece is a massive win. Dash, steering column & pedals also out, not far off a bare shell now.
Jordan_L
Roof lining and underseal out, practically a bare shell now.
