rusty360
Hi all looking at a new daily, got it checked out and when guy did diagnostic scan these came up. Normal scan no faults. Drives great, did have the battery fail recently so that explains that one, linked I'm thinking/hoping?
kws
Clear codes, drive car for a bit, see if they return. Not sure on the first code, but yeah the second looks like it'd be the battery.
RUNAMUCK
A crook battery can make cars throw codes.
Ranter
I'd be weary of that transmission one as those Mazdas do give trans trouble.

Yeah, brother-in-law just had the trans control unit replaced on an early Mazda 3, gave a similar code, occasionally wouldn't change up from 3rd, but would run normally after stopping. Took a while for the problem to get frequent enough for him to note the circumstances/pattern to describe it to the Mazda workshop.

Bling
Could take it to a Mazda garage and have them scan it / give you estimates perhaps. Dealership might get more detailed info from the ECU. I know when I had my van scanned yonks ago (not Mazda) they could tell exact details of the fault, when it happened and all that jazz. From the fault code they knew the part that had failed/ was intermittently failing.
ajg193
Looks like the TPS is also on its way out or needs calibration
Spencer
Just bail on it, don't need to mess with no 10 year old car throwing codes. Unless the code is a feature and you are getting it cheap because of something you know how to fix.

Iirc, it was tucked away down on the gearbox and they had to remove some the engine plumbing to get to it.

Have spoken to mazda they said they will get the same codes if they are there.
