Alfashark
Lush! Old enough to be terribly British, young enough to still have reasonable access to parts. Looking to EFI convert, or just bring the K-Jet up to scratch? If you can get past the usual Barry-bodges made by the uninformed, K-Jet does a pretty good job really.

I managed to wrangle the whole EFI manifold and plenum off a later TVR as part of the deal, so the option is there. Im going to try and get the Kjet working good enough to use, but the ultimate goal is EFI with my spare Speeduino. Probably use the dizzy as the trigger, and wasted spark.

Bits and pieces moulded into the fibreglass for things like door mounts and windscreen frame, but its mostly a fibreglass tub bolted to a tube frame chassis

Valiant
I'm confident this will have adjustable tappets. It would pay to check them. Good luck and gods speed.

It does, and if i have the covers off ill check them, but it had a full top end rebuild in about 2011, which i'd say is bugger all KM ago.
datlow
Was it the Tvr “specialist” that had done the rebuild?.......

The specialist is actually good as far as I know, but I suspect he gave up on this car when the owner just dumped it on him and forgot about it. Well, that's the only reason I can come up with, anyway.
Popular Post cletus
For some reason when I saw the pics I immediately thought of danger mouse's original car. It's quite cool. I like the gauges 8
tortron
I think a trv specialist would be like a paid to hoard Barry. Someone with an oily old pair of overalls and a chipped tea mug permanently in hand, a mechanical pencil in their chest pocket and long grey hair twirling from their ears, fully ensuring that they never hear a word you say and just hazard a guess when they start replying. The trv Barry keeps their workshop clean as no work is ever done here and takes pride in the cut to fit furniture blankets covering each car. 5
