Js5’s B1600 Rotary

So time to strip down our B1600 gen1 mazda rotary ute, and build her up to her former glory. We will be working on this build as a family, good to get the kids involved.

First things first we have removed the tray and are getting stuck in removing all the bog and rust. Let the fun begin.

Would be great to add photos but the files always seem to be too big.

Another day working hard on the tray of our B1600 ute. We are removing the back panel as it's just too full of rust to save. We also will need to remove some of the tray where it meets the back panel. Always fun to work on these projects as a team, couple dates look a lot like this for us! Not our only project on the go picture featuring our Mitsubishi L200 89 ute, which we are currently trying to sell, it is a work in progress. But will be great when completed, we have just taken on too much.

So back is now removed, it's kinda cool to be able to document our progress of this rebuild. More doing it this little page for ourselves so we can look back and be like look how far it has come, but if it interests others then that's great too. Cool to have the NZ car community and the NZ rotary community around.
