Ghost
Anyone using these (or can they recommend anything similar they have used)? https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/tools-repair-kits/other/listing-2222163226.htm I just moved into a new house with a "double" garage but it only has a single door to get into it... Bling
I have a pair from Repco, they drop to ~$220ish on special for a pair (semi often so if you're not in a hurry). Haven't used them a huge amount yet as I can't even move my car... But they jack the car up fine and seem to move alright even on garage carpet (talking 1 ton vehicle mind you). I'd link you but their site is down, here is the aussie site: https://www.repco.com.au/en/brands/mechpro/mechpro-vehicle-positioning-jacks-mpvpj2/p/A9691482 Those trademe ones look alright too, they don't even have a hydraulic ram, so less to go wrong perhaps? kiwi808
I use a set of 4 to move the rx7 around. They work well on a nice flat garage floor. They did not work so well in my mates garage when we were moving his Holden on a roughish garage floor. Flat floor = winning Rough floor = meh Got mine from super crap but they are all made in China.
tortron
I move my cars around the garage with a trolly jack under the diff. You could get wheel dolly's. They are cheaper. But have seen them bend the wheels and buckle. Ideal would be some dolly's with large wheels for rough surfaces
Ghost
I bought the ones on Trademe in the end, they seem to work well but wont have time to give them a real test until tomorrow.

Shit yes they do, they're so bloody flimsy. We've reinforced all the ones at work, once ya slap a couple of extra braces on them they hold up alright but the casters still get fucked if you hit a snag / stone / step. They're still a pain having to jack the car up to put them on, gonna tell the boss to nab a couple of sets of these suckers.

Ghost
Got too busy again, tried them the other night but the castors don't really turn fast enough, could push the back around ok but the heavy front end didn't want to go anywhere.. In saying that I didn't sweep the floor, will see if that makes any difference and report back.
