Get an NGK LB05F. Your local motorcycle shop should have them for $10-15. 

Unscrew the old one and fit this with the rubber water proof covers. Should create a solid seal on your plug and eliminate that if it's the cause of the issue. We had it once where either Andrew or Thomas's bike would do the same thing. The other bike that didn't die had a waterproof plug cap. Swapped it over to the one cutting out and it worked a treat. Cheap starting point at the very least.

I recently rode my CT through water depth well over spark plug and lead, and watched it happen, thinking, oh fuck here we go, you moran, nope, just nanged on through like a trooper.

Have aquired a cap as recommended by a filthy foamer/Callum so will give that a hoon.

Iv had splashes of water earth out the coil end of the plug too. Ghetto fix of packing it full of grease solved it

Still going strong, did the Raglan ride a few weeks back, and other than my sub-par piloting ability, it went well.

Then chucked a knobbly on the back and went bush with some fellow likeminded souls and spent a weekend in the forest. Took inappropriate bikes on inappropriate tracks and it was a blast. Other than drowning it in a mudhole, it came out pretty good.

Yeh we attempted to get to the Ketemaringi Trig but bailed out about 1km from the top (starting from the Totara Stream end) as it was getting too much effort/the quadbike track ran out haha. Good fun though. The next day went for a explore around the logging/forestry tracks in the areas which was a hoot.

ha new if seen that red wood recently, was down there a couple of weeks ago hunting for deer, spoiled a couple off that track apushed some goats over the gate at the end..  how good did that wood snell!! . awesome spot ay

So did Raglan ride a few months back, was awesome. Then got all prepped for Te Ureweras but had to pull the pin unfortunately. So jumped at the chance to hit the 42nd traverse this weekend. Such a trooper, drowned it in the river once and couldn't quite make it up one steep bit without a little bit of foot assistance but otherwise dunno why the others bothered with big bikes!

This thing still forges on. Finally got around to pesting @Geophy to help me build a new exhaust. We cut and shut/shortened the factory muffler, and then built up a stainless header pipe. Real happy with how it turned out, I like the high pipe as it leaves clearance for off road adventures. Survived another 42nd traverse mission along with some fully hectic side tracks.

Just this weekend partook in the DGR ride over in Tauranga, was a heap of fun and pretty happy with how the bike looks now.

Woah, that was ages ago. The fine stead is still going strong. Can't remember what's happened but I've done around 4,500km since the Lifan swap. New carb day today, a Nibbi which is a brand I came across while down in Christchurch for Syd's Run. Fair few people were running them so I figured it was worth a shot. Looks the part and after initial testing it is significantly smoother everywhere. I'm calling that a win.

Photo doesn't really show it but the carb is a matt black finish with nice anodised bits. Looks very sharp.

12 monthly update. Lol.

Still got this. Has some friends. Got it running again the other day for the first time in a while. Doesn't seem to like sitting. Thanks to @Geophy for the work bench. Added some castor's and its a dream to work on the bike now, and makes shed tetris much easier.
