Lucky for me I have perfected my technique so it will all be over in a minute... 1 minute 30 seconds absolute max

Ah yea but 1.30 of the most perfect bliss.

This means it is closer to a proper trip, probably down Chch way

Yes

Does this mean we can organize something, go and play trucks in the bushes?

So a couple of days before that trip I chucked in a set of newer style rockers that I had aquired to see if that made a difference to the 2k rpm clatter. It did seem to quieten it down a little. Enough that with the interior sound deadening rework intended it should be doable.

I'll probably sort that other engine out anyway...

First thought was to comment how fucked life is lifting a flat muddy tyre onto the roof, then saw you have the crane, so good!

The unfortunate thing is that the crane and the cabin are not compatible, it's one or the other.... :-(

If I ever make time for it, I have an idea in my head for a tailgate spare mount that unfolds to put the spare on the ground, gives bit of lever advantage to lift it back into position too.

Something similar that folds the wheel down to window height for yours?
