My father put a similar crane on his Atlas, scored a tail-lifter off a wreck for cheap and used the hydraulic pack to power crane. Worked out well as it with a corded remote etc.

Yea I might have to find a little power pack for it, at the moment it is driven off a porta power pump, but i spent ages dicking around last night trying to get the full movement, I came to the conclusion that the porta power reservoir wasn't big enough. I might mod the pump to just have a bigger tank tho.

24v tail-lift pumps are easy enough to get. was a mission finding the 12v unit for my suzuki

I will persevere with a manual pump for now, just for simplicity.

Probably just cut off the pump bit and attach it to a bigger tank.
