So this would be my sister Jessie's car, a family project which we are restoring to its former glory. 

Rather a lot of work, ill let the pictures do the talking :D

Some before images, this was around 3/4 years ago.  

Car was sitting with a ministocker ready to have the running gear taken, the lady who owned it before managed to T-bone it though a roundabout. Luckily this just bend the B pillar and the doors. 

Out came the engine and running gear, into the rust. Sister was on the wire wheel doing the dirty work

The sill was replaced and a new B pillar by Wildman Custom metal. Spear doors from my collection of bits were used 

Hours spent wire wheeling running gear and suspension components. Rust killed, prepsoled and the painted in the booth by us 

Engine stripped and taken to Regal Automotive in Tauranga for reconditioning

So then the rust work started. Around August 2018.

Much more than we expected, that seems to be the way it goes. 

This was the passenger foot well, the seem which connects the floor pan to the sill region

Roof seem was a bit rusty. Also the battery box was almost non existant, so a new piece was made to replace.

Rear L/h lower quarter. There is a drain hole here which seems to get clogged with gunk and must rust out the steel around. The lower area was rusted also, so re stitched and plug welded it in

B310 strut top mod into the b210. this lowers it by about 30mm by bringing the strut further up. You need to prise the lip with a cresent gently

Two coats of DP40 epoxy primer with 2 coats of ACV 2 pot Autothane paint on top. Wet on wet application
