Truenotch
@4AGEMAD's project thread: I highly approve of this car! Nice work. Someone must have really loved it to justify converting it so well. My dad's car is like a pre-facelift version of yours. This is the car that gave me my username. Keep up the good work!

Needs the brake master re-kitted, but is still a mint car. He's had it since 2001 and probably won't ever sell it.

Nominal
Looking good, I bet you'll be happy to have it legal. Just wanted to note that a high-stop light isn't required these days, if you don't want to fit on. https://vehicleinspection.nzta.govt.nz/virms/in-service-wof-and-cof/general/lighting/high-mounted-stop-lamps

kyteler
Nah. You'll be fine with the stop light not being put on. It's manufactured or registered anywhere before 1990 now, not NZ specific.

Ive got one here so will chuck it on then it may or maynot come unstuck after compliance...

As of 1 December you don't need a high level stop light on pre-1990 vehicles The Associate Minister of Transport, Hon Craig Foss , has signed into law 13 amendment Rules that make minor changes to existing Land Transport Rules The changes to Vehicle Lighting 2004 .... remove an requirement to fit high mounted stop lamps to vehicles registered or manufactured before 1 January 1990 http://www.ecos.co.nz/files/Omnibus_Amendment_2016.pdf
