nels
I always liked them when they first came out in the early eighties but are really hard to find now. you can still get them brand new from Unlimited fiberglass ( Up22) in the states but shipping was a really expensive. they look good when you can set them back and level them off..heaps easier with a smaller car.
Nominal
Looking very nice. Will you need to get those front arms crack tested? If so do it before paint/powdercoating.
nels
The whole front clip is a Heidts mustang ll unit for a Nova. They are one of the recommended brands for independent fronts so compliance guy is all happy. we had the front cut and narrowed in a jig to keep it all squared up.

Frieghtrain
Just wondering why you went for drum brakes and not rotors? Awesome build tho and looking forward to the finished product.
nels
Hi Freightrain...I am trying to keep a lot of the old styling from what we ran back in the day. even tho the front end looks modern it is still based off a 74-78 mustang 11.. thats part of the reason for the drum brakes and igot them in a clearance sale on summit racing so they were cheap. hope you like it so far. im trying to have the body on the chassis by the end of the year.

Nominal
Looking good. I reckon you need some of the tall wing nuts to complete the 80's look.

Paint over the chrome to get the anodised gold colour. Did this years ago when i couldn't get the engine accessories i wanted in the colours i wanted.
