It's super easy to do and you don't have to make much, will give a far wider powerband than a vnt or single turbo, trick will be to stop the r380 exploding

mmmm i might have to look into this, having to rebuilt my r380 box, done some research dosent seem many people have compound boosted these,  seems max boost is about 20 psi,
might have a research into this

Ashcroft transmissions do a heavy duty bearing upgrade for the r380, also fit an oil cooler to it, easy enough to do as the fittings are there it just doesn't go anywhere. 

20psi is max what you would run on the standard turbo by itself

I don't think the intake manifold will pose much of a restriction. 

 

Won't find much info on compounds because people seem to like vnt turbos but they are no good without and ecu control, all modern diesels are compounded now
