I drove it like this for a while, added an original restored chain steering wheel and had a good time. But I just could get my head around the red!

So it got to the point where I made the call and started stripping it for a repaint. Its kind of a shame as the paint was pretty nice.... Ah well!

After all the sanding and all the red dust I really f%@kin' hate that red paint. My garage and everything inside has a nice tint of red haha

I've had the trunk strap holes and the trim holes over the roof filled in. So just needs a skim of filler to smooth it all out.

So many pieces to prep. This is most of the filler panels headlight doors etc... Theres a few other pieces not pictured.

We got the car prepped and ready to say "later" to the red with a nice coat of primer! I was stoked to finally see the ass end of that red! haha

So yeah, all primed and the start of blocking.
