64valiant
My ears are ringing like no tomorrow and my but is destroyed. Over started riding at 730 this morning and I've just got home. I don't think I want to ride again. 5

Truenotch
Holy shit that was a good few days! So much gravel, so many rings and dings. Huge thanks to @BLIZZO for letting me ride his ST90 back up to the motel last night.... and for the mangina demonstration. This was even better than it was cracked up to be. Can't wait for the next big mission!

MichaelJFox
Fuck what a weekend. Motu was such an experience going from only ever ridden suburban paved roads to wet clay n rock but shit I'm glad I stuck it out. Managed to get quite a bit of cornering confidence up on the last day and had a tonne of fun. Thanks everyone involved, 10/10 would trade again.

Popular Post johnnyfive
Thanks everyone for stepping up and sorting out whatever issues came up. I don't think we can thank Max and Mark enough for their efforts as well. Between broken leaf springs, drawbars, tyres and BBQing food for everyone, these two then carried luggage, people, bikes, performed courier duties, helped with whatever situation came up. Things simply would have been a whole lot more difficult without these two and their willingness to do nearly anything to help keep the wheels turning. I was able to have a great ride knowing that everyone was either going to be on top of their own game, or in good hands if (and when) shit went south. I really enjoyed the open flowing sections of gravel on Friday afternoon and battling with Rookie to the falls. We were pretty lucky with the weather, even though it wasn't that stunning on Fri/Sat it didn't get that moist either. Saturday was made a little difficult by the fatal accident (not us thank fuck) and road closure that ate up a good chunk of riding hours. Thanks to those that made it through the alternate route, it was a pretty ruthless addition that late in the day from the sounds, well done! I'm yet to hear anyone had any real negative encounters or feedback along the way so thank you all for situation appropriate shenanigans. I'll dump the few photos I took in here. Lighthouse trip. Popular Post HighLUX
Wow that was a sweet adventure. My knees are chooched, not much articulation happening today. Thanks to everyone for showing up and having the right attitude all weekend. Also thanks for being well behaved at the bach. Clean up was a breeze while the lighthouse ride was happening. That Waimata valley road was awesome, good fast flowing gravel. Im keen to get away from gizzy early next year and take that way all the way through to Te Puia springs. In summary everyone was good nobody died. Live hard ride free etc 13
