We are defiantly going to need a support vehicle with more seats.

On it! Looking at 2. The OG ute with box trailer and also messaged @Thphantum as he's keen as beans. His boss is insisting he goes.

Also We need more room for bikes than people. Half these bikes have room for 2 people. So 2 up till your bike is fixed is the way to go IF the unforseen happens.

Makes for awesome filming opportunities too. Plus who doesn't enjoy a little nuts to butts?

Will update later re: Support Vehicles.

Hows those panniers @Vintage Grumble

are we going to need to cap the number or bikes? maybe something to think about so shit doesn't get bigger than we can handle? id say with 30+ we will probably self separate into two or more groups, so could have a support vehicle follow each group

In discussion at the moment. J5 will make the call and update stuff when stuff is decided.

Everyone just worry about your bikes.

Support vehicles and stuff will be there. It’ll all be sorted. Aim to be self sufficient.

This is a weekend ride with the boys, not Paris to Dakar.

Anyone got a food caravan to follow the group? Also if someone owns a helicopter to follow and spot from the air that’d be great /sarcasm.

Remember AA+ exists if you’re that worried and will pick you up anywhere in the country and take you anywhere you need to go.

SIMMER DOWN, EVERYBODY JUST SIMMER DOWN!! :)

One vehicle with three to four free seats should be plenty (Just in case a corpse is unable to double) and a trailer with room for four or five bikes will do (I can get my hands on a medium sized tandem which could fit 4-6 small bikes on it)

It doesn't really matter if we end up broken into smaller groups, the support vehicle should always be at the back.

It sounds like the huge majority of people are carrying their own gear, so that will help tremendously with space.

A huge pack of bikes is going to be completely awesome and chaotic, I look forward to the mayhem!

After this year I guess we can decide if numbers need to be capped in the future.

SO in summary, try make your bike less shit. try carry all your gear, and prepare your anus for a jolly good seeing to.

Yeah alot of panic isnt required here. Your right about focussing on your bike and making it less shit. Shakedown runs needed before loading your bike up and Blizzos tool kit list is spot on.

Make sure ya bike is shit hot. Pack ya tools. Carry ya own gear. Win

Ill take a photo and list the tools im taking.

I know the 5 QCR that are a riding all have the same motor so we gonna carry a spare part each to ensure we make it to the end if any problem should arise

Might make good sense to take a can of air freshner/bottle of bog cleaner for at the batch too?  Old school alway cleans up after itself. But imagine being the last guy to take a dump with a savage hangover? Nasty!

Osn 2013 kk bought 235 rolls of toilet paper.  As the numbers increase so do the contingency items that must be planned for.

stress less.

+1.

The event has an organiser. They'll sort out the event - thats what they're for.

Riders only need sort out their bikes and arrive. Literally nothing else. Not toilets, nor paper, nor air freshener. Let the dude who came up with the ride do his things and stuff.
