Ironically I have got the Jag humming quite well so the starter carb finally fixed itself although it is running off a boat tote tank. I should prob start a thread on it. There are ways around that of course but more work. I recon a rear sump from a granvia would be your go there 1 Quote
Yowzer Posted July 10 Posted July 10 I recommend M57. Easy to work on, makes lots of power, lots of parts available. Quote

I have one in the chev about 5 meters from the jag now and it probably wont fit with the turbo in the stock position down low due to steering and chassis rail. I had the same problem on the chev which is even wider. Top mount would fix that but would then it might stick out of the bonnet of the jag. It's a tight package in the s-type as the nose pinches unlike the XJ6. I'll do a tape measuring exercise in case some poor cunt in the future is googling and finds this thread. Quote

Seems to be pretty cheap and in greater numbers than all but the 1kz. I have certed 2x vehicles with them , that I remember because they went surprisingly well One was in a navara, from memory it had custom manifolds, a big turbo, and a tickled up pump. That one was a accelerate in 2nd gear and it was just on the cusp of wheelspin the whole time type of power, I was quite surprised The other one was a terrano, and he had done a few things to it but head porting was the main difference power wise 1 2 Quote
