I think you've cracked it! The pitch change is a big part of the Porsche sound and as said above, that hill brought it out perfectly.

Volume seemed appropriate too - Enough to know there's something interesting going on back there without being obnoxious.

Thanks fellas. Yeah its definitely got more of a big engine sound especially when loaded up. I'll have to setup the Gopro off the back of the car and get some exhaust vids. I'd like to know what it sounds l like out the back when burbling through town sort of pace.

If I can sort out the fumes with new pipe exits it'll be grand.

What if you took the pipes forward from the exit of the box and poked them out just behind the rear wheels? So they're more out the side rather than behind

There's no room in front of the pipes to do that. But I'll certainly be aiming them more out to the sides. I'm glad they are bolt on.

Perserverance pays off. Sounds cool. You wouldn't expect to see a Hillman Imp come round the corner hearing that exhaust sound.

Hopefully you can get the fume issue sorted without changing the sound.

Maybe you need to modify the airflow at the back of the car?

Couple of options I thought of.

I think I'll pass on both of those.

What I should do is tape up my opening rear window and see if that's where the fumes are getting drawn through.

Will test new tail pipe setup tomorrow.
