chees-
You have to cut the silver lower section off before you weld, otherwise yea they’re a bit shit
Yowzer
Like this Not like this (Pics stolen from Oldnathans build thread, who encountered the same problem)
Yowzer
That top pic appears to be welded to the cast though, don't do that.
Seedy Al
What ever you do, don't attempt to run the skyline shocks instead. They are weak sauce as old Nathan knows. But yeah old Nathan ended up with what would be considered a slightly dodgy setup. He bored out the bottom knuckles so that the whole bottom part could go all the way in. But was left with nothing to weld to. Think he knows now lol
cletus
Have you got a pic of how they are set up now?
SlipperyGX71
they are set up like the second pic, guy that did them said it would be a major mish to undo his welding and plug welds, wish i had knowen that first ud think adjustables would let you go lower than what it is tho its a bit of a joke tbh. SlipperyGX71
how is the shock body so short? what are they off?
4AGEMAD
Its just what was chosen when barry was making them. He can choose any length he wants and get them custom made for him. So if you pulled apart yours and find out the thread pitch etc, give barry the deets he might be able to sort something out for you. He made a few rear shocks for me as i was helping do r&d for him
