Mop Head
RAGLAN RIDE! Just a reminder that this will be on no matter what! Some forecasts are showing a let up in the current weather for Sunday. Whilst others still show rain. Either way we’ll be there. Bring wet weather gear if you want. The only thing that might change if it’s raining is that we’ll possibly do a shorter route. This all depends on how everyone’s feeling on the day. Don’t forget $5 for stickers on the day. These won’t be available after the ride or for anyone who didn’t go. NO COME NO GET! Remember this is a predominantly gravel ride. Front brakes aren’t your mate. Come hang out! Feel free to tag anyone who might be coming.

Suppose I'd better pull the old FA60 out and kick it over... I wonder how much fuel it'll use? I'm still dealing with the tail end of a flu, so rain might scare me away.

Archetype
If someone could bring along a spare screw in mirror or two that I could borrow for the day, it would be most appreciated.
GuyWithAviators
I installed some Golden Boy tyres onto my CT90 last night. Then broke the kick starter. Now the battery is flat. I’ve also only ridden it a total of 8km after fixing the internal gear linkages and 2km before doing that. So i’m good to go! .. Bringing Yamaha V50 as backup..
Archetype
I’ve ridden my bike around the shed about 8 times, and up the road once. And I’ve never ridden on gravel before. Should be good aye. 5

Vintage Grumble
So peeved I missed this, bike motor was still on bench sat morning, rather than in bike, so close, yet too far.
Popular Post GuyWithAviators
This was a great success for most of us! A few highlights were @MopedNZ having the worst luck and getting a flat tyre from a nail at the very start of the ride on his freshly built well sorted 125 Lifan Chaly. @Shakotom and @Geophy battling the FA50 through the gravel passes. Meeting @Raizer and seeing his latest Gyro purchase. Then watching him rip up the road in Kawhai on the PPSC Rusty Trombone straight into the local cop. @Archetype and I meeting the locals and having some quality yarns about friendship and prison. @BLIZZO being the manliest man in the world dragging his C50 over the biggest sand dune in the world after riding in the ocean. And the general awesomeness that was gravel bashing and beach hoons on a bunch of either overpowered or underpowered shit mopeds. A++ would trade again. Check out Moped NZ on Facebook for more photos from the other riders and a video being cut together by @MopedNZ later in the week. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1639560922975814/
igor
Looks like much fun was had by all. Thanks for sharing with those of us who couldn't be there. I for one always enjoy following the write-ups of activities in other regions.

Truenotch
Looks like fun! I was pretty preoccupied with having a lazy weekend catching up on car work and sleep... didn't even pull the bike out of its hiding place.
