Chris.QCR
Got this for a box of cold ones from a bloody good mate YAMAHA JOG. unknown year Was from up Motueka ways from a golf course. Was part of a collection of 3 bikes that old boys who rode them around the course and have since passed on. So no reg no worries Jump started with some new fuel in the tank got it running but not revving out . So next step is strip fuel system and clean and de carb the exhaust then chuck a new plug in and hope for the best. Minimal money spent is key on this one. Cheap ideas to make it go hard

Raizer
That's sweet!! The old school Jogs like that are harder to find a lot of performance parts for, isn't a huge range of pipes and cylinders etc to choose from these days. Chris.QCR
How do I get on finding out what year it is based on frame number ? Keen to know year so I can accurately buy parts. Keen to sort some wheelies out tho
Raizer
Just at a quick glance I think it's a CE50, so it's 1986 or 87 I'd say. Could be CG50 but that bent front fork style screams CE to me, CG has the same vertical Minarelli engine as the CE but with a touch more power tuned out of it. Edit: Frame number should be stamped in the frame just in front of the engine, should be visible if you have a look under it.

tortron
Found one of these in a drain in raglan with a broken kick start gear. Drill with a socket and cut away plastics, and reattaching my fa50 exhaust that had fallen off when I rode it over from Hamilton had us terrorising the town that very night
