Unclejake
Those things are remarkably capable off-road. I had one exactly the same. They crawl, and wade well. They didn't put the alternator right up the top of the engine for no reason yiou see. They put it up there so the cabin computer still had electricity, and as they put that under the driver's seat it was the first thing to go bang when you got wet ankles. Oh the horrid dash rattles, blend flaps, aircond, air suspension, electric brake booster and cylinder liners though. Kisses
Muncie
Fucking awesome. 90% of electrical Gremlins in mine were fixed by fitting the biggest battery i could physically fit. Only 4x4 ive driven offroad and it made me look like a pro.
UTERUS
They sure are a pleasure to drive off road, spent a day wombling around unmaintained forestry tracks the other day in air conditioned comfort.

Those things look like a giant pain in the ass to put decent recovery hooks on I need to get longer bumpstops in to stop the tyres rubbing when tucking, but apart from that I just unscrewed, hammered and cut things to suit.
UTERUS
Today my flatmate (mott) and I drove in to the Kaingaroa forest around the Rangitaiki area of SH5, then along foresty/public access roads to Murupara. Few side adventures to drive up/down things and along a river for awhile. Good day, got a new personal best fuel economy on the drive back, 15L/100K. Lowest I've ever seen it. We saw this abandoned building in Murupara, it had a real bad vibe about it.

Mof
Mayte they're fucked. Do they not have a fancy in cab switch for the shocks or something?
UTERUS
There's an up/down switch for when it had bags, but the shocks were never adjustable.
