tortron
You might like to clean it right back and brush some durapox on under there. That would be a legit long term protection. Or zinc primer the shit out of it and top with rubberised undercoat
morkster
Car looks so mint I'd of not thought there'd be repairs like that hiding.

I know, there were no signs. they covered it up well it wasnt untill i had a brush under there and the rubber coating started to peel and expose what was beneath. Old lady prior must have had it done.
al_feinted
Great car raisin, look on the bright side, you didnt find any chicken wire and newspaper in there Id do what tortron said. Once its sealed underneath you may be able to reach in from the boot and get some fish oil on the inside for extra protection.
Jeffs_Emporium
i was actually just thinking this week that i wondered how you were getting along with this. Are you still planning on doing an engine swap?
Tender Raisin
Im just lazy with updates, The build thread is behind abit. I have been collecting bits and pieces that pop up at this stage. I have a W57 & driveshaft and many manual conversion bits and pieces including a W-JZ bell housing and flywheel. Also managed to get a JZ ITB setup. I also got a set of the engine mounts made up. However i am still undecided on if i want to go 1g-ge or jz power plant. I brought a MA61 as well last year so garage space is tight at this stage...but i think that the MA61 will 100% get the JZ treatment in the future. At this stage i just want to drive it, so engine swap will be whenever i have enough coin in the future to do it all in one hit....or if the 1g gives up.
