BlownCorona
the 560s might be usable if your willing to sell them off? the only issue im aware of with running too big of an injector is poor idle quality, but what i dont know is when people say too big are the talking about going from ~400 to ~500cc or going for ~400 to ~2000cc for the sake of confusion, my stock injectors are 210cc
mjrstar
I road tuned a supra that went from stock ~450 injectors to 1000's and then onto 2200's 6 months later and idle quality and a/f control was mint right down to 700rpm. I was a bit surprised. No dramas with the denso 720 in my lancer either on a factory (tuned) ecu. Take a look on trademe you may find some 450's or 510's cheap. Such as these. https://touch.trademe.co.nz/motors/listing/view/1340243569 I reckon my 560s are worth 150-160.
BlownCorona
gah! i would have bought though evo1 injectors, flowed and cleaned for 100 bucks was a steal. have requested a relist so will hopefully snap them up. gutted i didnt check oldschool sooner
downtrail
Yeah sorry mate nothing good. Problems with oversized injectors are with the ecu unable to control low pw well enough causing poor injector control. Most modern ecus have pretty good injector control. Another issue is poor injector data which leads to poor fuel calculations which leads to poor injector control. Which leads to poor idle quality. BlownCorona
all good. i managed to pick up those evo1 450cc injectors that had just been cleaned and flowed for a great price. so that should sort me out!
fuel
As I said before, no Evos had 450cc injectors. You bought some Galant VR-4 injectors.
RUNAMUCK
They're a plenty good injector. Which reminds me @datto_610 still has mine. For the boost you'll be running they'll be good as gold.
BlownCorona
sweet as Fuel. the guy did only say he thought they were from an evo1 so yeah will be galant items, but were flowed and cleaned at 450cc. will be plenty good for what i need!
