Depends what comes up really. And no, not eBay. either FaceBoobs or just whatever my agent finds. there's a big old school community over there On 4/24/2017 at 08:30, MaxPower said: hey am keen to hear some more about how you brought your parts from malaysia, and what you do for freight etc, have a ke25 coupe and keen on a few things. cheers I have an agent over there, I find parts online, he finds them around the country and then we ship them over here. If you need anything for your 25, let me know. Would be happy to help if I can
piazzanoob
please don't tell me you are going to hack up that nice original tan interior. it does look rather mint.

I am not hacking it up at all in any stretch of imagination! There was a fella down in Dunedin who bought a KE30 project and he has bought all of this tan interior. I wouldn't hack up an old school mint interior, would only replace with original parts. Which is what I am doing

Adoom
FYI: I used about 5kg of dry ice to remove the sound deadening in my triumph. If I had to do it again, I'd get a bit more. Near the end, enough of it had disappeared that I didn't have enough to freeze complete sound deadening sheets and had to do them a bit at a time. Much easier at the start when you have enough to just fill up each floor area with dry ice.
Bling
What product are you using to treat the rust on some of those patches? Might be my monitor, but the areas still look to be quite rusty, including the "new" metal you're replacing rust with? This is the main one, just looks like you're welding to rust along the top edge? I'd be chopping it back till there was no deep pitting with rust, just my2c though.

Hide contents Yeah, I tacked it a few more times where there wasn't pitted rust then attacked it with the grinder and wire wheel to bring back to bare steel and epoxy etch primed over it. Also, the sheet steel I got was beautiful on one side and then just surface rust on the other. got it for cheap so all good. came off in a couple of seconds 1 hour ago, tortron said: Good practice chasing holes on that top edge tho eh Very much so!
