That's the whole idea of using a concrete tile with holes in it. You definitely want a little bit of fall.. Even if it's only 50mm from the house out. Popular Post sheepers
i still dont see why? 90% of the area is under a roof and the bit that isnt is permeable, just like if it was grass. which it was before and it never flooded? anywho, yesterday and today i did much work. 2 cubes of sand delviered and spread, screeded to some sort of level that compacted. then leveled again and compacted again. and today i Rhona and i painted the thing. the pics are shit because sunny but you might get the idea. im really happy wiht how a coat of paint makes it blend into the house so much better. concrete tiles get delivered tomorrow so tomorrow night after work ill start placing them. 2020-08-16_03-43-42 by sheepers, on Flickr 2020-08-16_03-43-35 by sheepers, on Flickr 2020-08-16_03-43-22 by sheepers, on Flickr 2020-08-16_03-43-08 by sheepers, on Flickr 2020-08-16_03-43-16 by sheepers, on Flickr 21

Fall has just been drummed into my head over the last 10 years. Its just easier to put fall in when your loading out anyway than not. That way, if it somehow it does manage to get water in there at least you had fall. Ap can be quite water resistant so once you fill the pavers with dirt which can also pool you might find it takes a while for any water to drain through. As you say, its mostly covered, but sometimes it's just better to do that to your ass as well.

xsspeed
mind your pedestrian gate out to garage - it may sag over time, sorry to point out but the diagonal is technically going the wrong way, ideal is tranferring load in compression back to the hinge side. It may be stiff enough as the leaf isnt too wide. Its just sticking out at me though

Its just sticking out at me though yea, your right it might sag. it is held together with 100mm long 12 gauge screws at every joint so it might be ok, hasn't moved yet. i guess time will tell.

Popular Post sheepers
Just recently I made a new range hood for the kitchen. I made it by using the guts out of a stock range hood and I made the rest. Basically the bit with the lights in it and the filters are "off the shelf" the rest I made. There are 3 150mm fans in the roof which connect to the top of the square but via flexible hoses . The linear actuators are 24 volt. I had to make a bunch of frames to mount it all in the roof. Getting to where is mounted was not easy...... 19
