sholdowa
Any recommendations for a degas? I've got to take the heater box out of an Audi TT, which apparently entails removal of the drivers seat, steering column, dash... you get the idea. I know I've got to replace the heater matrix and probably repair the box itself, so removal seems to be the most sensible option, hence attacking the aircon. I also have absolutely no idea how much it would cost...
mjrstar
It's likely at air con is in a separate compartment from the heater core and can be left in tact with for the heater core. This has been the case with the new school Japanese stuff I have worked with anyway.
flyingbrick
I had one degassed and I think it was free (or atleast extremely cheap). You don't need recommendations..Just pop into any Aircon place and ask
chris r
When I did air con we did De gassing for free. Just give aircon places a bell and they should be able to sort you out
