Mickey
IMHO if you want good rust repairs you really need to go to a panel shop that specialises in restorations and can actually do some metal shaping. I wouldn't go to your standard collision repair shop for rust repair on a classic car. Same for Just Rust, they're really just about doing you some quick patches to pass your WOF.
Mickey
Depends on how simple the section they're replacing is too and how visible it will be..... Does anyone know what the deal is with Custom Metal Shapers these days? Someone on here mentioned the owner is in prison now!!? Not sure if that's correct. Correct, but it seems work is ongoing - 61 Belair IIRC?
crustywhip
I had extensive rust repairs carried out by Kayne at In The Barn. I was super fussy on where my car went (1977 Toyota) and have nothing but good things to say about his work. Everything is photographed with estimates on price and what work will be done so I can go back and look at each repair and what it cost. He is based in Carterton and I have been over a lot in the weekends to check up on progress which helped as I was living in chch. I am now waiting for paint which is happening in the coming weeks and wanting to update my build thread. www.inthebarn.co.nz/
