Would have been done a decade ago! ย No idea on hours. 1000s and 1000s. Generally expected/accepted that a full car like this would be 16-20k hours. 3 Quote
VitesseEFI Posted June 10 Posted June 10 Just installed Opera on my phone so I can have a VPN and view your pics (imgur not visible in UK anymore). Wow. Those cores and moulds ๐๐ย Results look fantastic. Quote

Ive needed a reason to move away from it!ย It looks like you can embed images from Google Drive with a bit of manual mucking around. That might be the way to go from now on, unless anyone knows a reason not to do that? Heres one embedded from Drive. Let me know if that works for you. ย ย @felixxย heres the model. 3 Quote

Google used to crack down on people trying to use drive as a host and pics wouldn't stay visible for more than a day or 2. Quote
Not-a-number Posted June 10 Posted June 10 Ah right. So I shouldnโt do it from Drive if itโs โagainst their rulesโ I just want to be able to host images long term, embed them in forums and not have to worry about one day getting held hostage like Photobucket did. Must be a good solution for that. 1 Quote
xsspeed Posted June 11 Posted June 11 interesting if drive does allow embedding now. OS can host pics for posting here but size limit per post 1 Quote

Bearded Baldy Posted June 13 Posted June 13 I use theย app 'photo and image resizer' by farluner. For android. Has adds but has an addfree version if your wallet doesn't squeak like mine. Can get a 12mb photo down to 250kb if you want to, then upload direct to the forum is my way. ย ย 1 1 Quote
Willdat? Posted June 13 Posted June 13 I do something similar, send myself the photo on Messenger, then download it, automatically makes photos about 200kb. 2 Quote

The pivot/bores are under size. When you heat treat and case harden they go a bit oval. So they need to be reamed to size, but if they were case hardened that would basically be impossible. With a reamer anyway. Theres probably other reasons for it but thatโs my understanding. Itโs all new to me too. 7 Quote
