Gross 80s Camper Trailer Build.

I thought I'd post it here before putting it on Trademe.

This is a 1985 Penine Aztec Camper Trailer. It was built in the UK and imported to NZ by the person I bought it off.

They owned it for several years in the UK and brought it with them when they migrated to NZ. It has always been kept in a garage.

As such I have the original owners manual, brochure, documents and first registration details. The Trailer has current registration and I will put a new WoF on it when sold.

All three tyres including the spare are new. The spare has a new cover fitted too.

The canvas is tidy with no rips or tears. The only problems are the following:

- Front door zip needs replacement. Works sort of.

- One pole is missing the pop out dome so I slip an R clip into it when it's being erected.

- Brown cover (for when the camper is stowed) has UV damage and needs replacing, hence me keeping a tarp over it. Ahem... Midnight Upholstery .... cough.

Apart from that it's really tidy and functional.

The chassis was galvanised from new and is in very good condition. It takes me about ten minutes from parking up to having it fully operational and folded out if I am working by myself. With two people it's about 5 minutes tops. It can be configured into either two double beds or a double bed and couch. All the original bed/seat squabs are included and are very tidy.

The cooker unit is portable and has a built-in sink with fittings to attach to the onboard water tank. Has a foot pump too which works well. Has external waste and inlet water fittings. Comes with a small gas bottle for the gas cooker, again this all works very well.

Inside there is ample standing room and two storage compartments either side of the door. It also has a full set of original matching curtains.

There is a full awning kit in tidy condition included which doubles the size of the dwelling. It has its own storage bag etc.

I am only selling this because I don't use it often enough and I need some space.

It's very small when packed away, light and easy to maneuver by hand. It tows brilliantly and because it's so small and light you don't notice it's there. The narrow width means you can't even see it when towing it.

$1500
