Threeonthetree Posted June 28, 2016 Share Posted June 28, 2016 I dig the whitewalls. I've seen a Hunter with flappers which looks terrible, mainly because they emulate a wide whitewall. The thin whitewall looks much better and suits the age of the car. Beaver Posted September 28, 2016 Share Posted September 28, 2016 If the keep spring is keeping the main spring captive (and becomes upcaptive when you remove the keeper spring) then you really need to keep it. Although you may find that you can pull the keeper spring out, then wind the spring perch up a bit to take up the tension of the main spring, and the car will actually sit lower (as you no longer have the hight of the collapsed keeper spring). 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
