azzurro's half-scrote camper trailer

i'm pretty sure they are eh. For light trailers I'm pretty sure the coupling ruling is like for car towbars. So long as the guy doing the wof thinks it's suitable for use then it psses? I wouldn't use one though but they rate them at like 1500kg or somesuch! I always figured they'd be fairly rattly beasts.

I thought the coupling was a bit pants myself TBH, and it is very rattly!

Trailer is unlikely to ever be very heavy tho, even fully loaded for camping, and its not even that useable for carrying 'general goods' like a load of builders mix or whatever.

Might use it this week to pick up a new scooter, maybe :)

Plenty of barrys and a few hard out pig hunting bros stopped by to say they liked the trailer. Even some foreigners!

Should have flicked me a message would have loved to check this thing out in the steel!

Think I've still got a stock Escort rear sway bar somewhere if you wanted to adapt it.

Did you stop? No, I just drove by.

We only stopped in gissy for about an hour for some brunch then hit the road to get back to feed the cat, and sorry i missed picking up that engine for ya.

I need the rear suspension mounting bar thing (that the struts and sway bar connect to) and the top strut mounts. I have some strut from a Cortina to fit but not all the other gubbins.

So I have just put a deposit on a !new van! ('03 E25 Nissan Caravan LWB High roof, with KA24 engine, but no tow bar), so this thing will be on trade me soon for a fairly speculative $1500, less roof & bike racks and turbos (all available for extra if wanted),

Also will be selling the Caldina too (4WD, 2L towbar etc) , will plop that on Trademe for around $6k

happy to do a deal for OS!

Will part swap for Nissan e25 towbar, garden trailer, 49cc scooter, or Fiat parts!

@HighLUX this shape only came out with automagic (even the GT4) aparrently you can use the earlier shape box and pedals as the GT4 uses the 3SGTE engine but its a mission as there is no factory pressings for the clutch pedal etc.

This bad boy is AWD with 2l 1AZ-FSE (also used in camry, Rav4, avensis) , 20Xkm, all new fluids new brake pads etc in the last 6 months, bought from my neighbour who had it from about 100km.
