The 40 pin header would be ample for strength the PLCC32 header Only supplies 4 signals so I'd be ok with a ribbon cable to those.

Cool thing with this is once its fitted i can email out a file and they can update the Bin with almost anything that has browser and usb connection.

Fitting these for people is my goal..... ive got an ESP32 Project on back burner that can hook into ONEROM to so it could be programed over wifi and output information to dash serve multiple tunes and display information like boost and AFR on unused portion of dash. Im working on an LS version too so not just Ecotec will be supported in end.

Spent a few hours outside the environment dialing in tune i was getting a bit of transmission mushyness at low load so spent about an hour tuning that out and basically created drag mode on a button normal mode is my previous hot street mode.

Power mode should hold shifts to 6000rpm (had to raise rev limit to 6100) can confirm it really does not hang around at all anymore just loads to stall and grips or if you stab it its powerskid city.

I also sat on side of road while engine was warm and managed to get the remaining rich idle down to 13.2AFR previously 11.0 so that should improve economy a heap, big injectors with no data sheet life almost there ive got some trims i can play with might cure that last little bit.

The 360cam needs a better mount it tried to escape.

dont be tempted to put in the metal ones with the rubber inserts as an "upgrade" they vibrate and are shit, genuine ones are good just put them in the right way mine have held up fine.

Ive heard mixed results like run one but not both ive also seen photos of what they cope with after seeing a 1000hp (metal bends first) im a tight ass so I'll just buy the middle of road rockautoparts.com ones when i put in the driveshaft hoops. 400hp maybe a bit more isnt earth shattering

Im running 410whp and have no issues, and I know a guy who is turbo ls and he went back to the factory ones.

Scope creep in right direction, now the ONEROM equipped PCM has proven itself to be a hell of a sweet thing ive decided to actually put some effort into making it good and factory quality.

So ive got PCBway to make me a small run of interposer boards that occupy free space and hold everything nice and solid. Looks very nice so much fiddly soldering!

Just waiting on more ONEROM's then can get back into assembly this one will go in car forever as theres no need to do anything inside until i figure out how to data log through it.

Tried sneaking in to race at fathers day drags...... 3 recounts of cylinders before they realized i was lacking 2 cylinders and were very apologetic.

All good pit parking and a refund it would of held its own trying to stay off social media missed the V8 only stuff listed on Facebook as i just went to meremere's website.

I genuinely had 8 people around my car trying to workout what my engine is as it looks like a small block chev with the polished rocker covers and flipped inlet manifold. 

So many things went parts out on track too poor track guys were flat out picking metal and oil up from blacktop. I would of smoked 50% of cars there was so frustrating not been able to race.

They were all top chaps funny thing was how far i got through scrutineering before i got pinged for bringing a slug gun to shotgun fight. (American reference there)

So tonight i turned a hotel room into a soldering Lab and fitted the PCB i had made by PCBWAY to the Onerom then the whole shebang got soldered in to the PCM'S 40 pin carrier with 4 extra wires for the missing signals i needed all in all ive seen far worse in consumer electronics.

Nah actually i'll brag this is the coolest electronics project ive ever made! All tested up in a hotel too why not. Shits approaching Haltech levels of functionality Ive got an ESP32 I'll be adding to the car to communicate to the Onerom making wifi or Bluetooth tooth comms possible with no leads and also spit Boost and AFR up on dash using the ALDL Bus the radio used to occupy as thats been replaced with an aftermarket one.
