I was trying to figure out on these wheels why the front tyres are absolutely destroyed on the front inside edges, way worse than a bad alignment balled up burnt rubber and shredded steel belts...... penny dropped they were on a Holden. A 245 40 19 will rub on the front struts if you dont use the right struts these have 255 55 19s on them and they have attempted to drive on them.

The noise smoke and lack of power the car would of had should of been red flags right up until both front tyres exploded.

Can confirm the Teins hold the springs in fine ride is actually better than I was expecting bit of rubbing have smacked some inner guard bits back hopefully that's all it needs.

Am I too old for this look?? It does make it very easy to wash at least.

I might rethink my exhaust where it passes under diff make it oval or something ride quality is fine but I do like to tow a trailer and scare passengers not been able to do that would suck.

These springs are Zachs so I might just order some the next level up. 70mm drop instead of 100mm i'd consider airbags for back only if it wasn'ta dog to cert. Last car I had this low was my Triumph brings back cool memories every time you hit bumps.

Time to dig a bit deeper into the tune happy with basically everything else,

I've got the Wideband wired in to PCM although how this works on a flash based Unit is a little janky I have to steal the input for injector voltage monitoring which forces the engine management to just go by battery voltage instead.

As the car only runs on the narrowband I want to compare the readings off the narrowband to the wideband trace and also directly from the wideband controller as everything coming from the car to laptop says its bang on, But the exhaust and spark plugs are saying otherwise I may have a calculation skewed in my ADX file Tunerpro uses to display things.

So bought an aliexpress serial to usb adapter hopefully allows me to use the software that came with the wideband controller to see things straight off the sensor, then I can get everything tidied up in fuel maps and hopefully get a less rich idle and maybe a little bit better economy.

Oh and those ultra low springs have settled around another 20mm lower.......

I'm struggling to get out of the thing as I'm basically hopping straight out onto the ground.

More rims still 19x10 and 19x9 but different offsets I don't love them but they will fit and get massive tread under the front and back whatever I'll probably put Simmons on at some stage anyway.

It's probably going to be too low with the ultralow springs in free 20mm drop 30 profile tyres so my FE2  springs will probably have to go back in.

Bloody finally side quest of getting a 275 under the bum achieved!

Think the fitments is on point its flush with the outer guard and inner guard potentially could go a little wider tyre with some hammer buggery but as is it moves it's just ever so slightly touching inner guard plastic this low so I'll just trim that back and tap back anything single skin metalwork to ensure I'm clear with people in back.

Like these wheels way better on car.

She's sitting nose up now and exhaust is about 25mm from ground so other springs are going back in for now, and a little minorly invasive surgery with a block of wood a hammer and the guard roller is going to happen so everything fits nicely has lots of travel and doesn't rub.

This will do for a bit while I start working through Cert stuff I have a uncut bumper support which I'll mount a cut down intercooler off as this one is huge and inlet air temps only ever rise in nose to tail traffic so can lose some core without hurting things too much.

FE2  springs back in inner wheel arch plastics trimmed back and some rubber mallet bashing everything fits its bees dick clearances on inside but not touching. No mexipoke and looks meaty from back the look I was going for and doesn't get all wild when you punch it.

Slightly smaller rolling diameter tyres so I've picked up a slight ratio change which could get me into the 13's if I run it down strip again.

Went on PCMHacking.net to check out the current Beta Binary upgrade projects have progressed and bugger me they are looking for BETA testers of a new Binary file that has Spark cut rev limiter as a feature as well as lots of other cool stuff like a 8000rpm rev limit! previously there was a software limitation that messed with ignition dwell so 6375 RPM was a hard limit, a open source group has nutted out how to make all this amazing shit function coded it and released it.

They Even mapped a few other cool things like an extra input using redundant inputs like EGR for other sensors, rad stuff for 20+ year old Technology.

As you can imagine i've Downloaded it and started trying to get my head around it all as its radically different and quite complex, i've been wanting the spark cut rev limiter for ages to do a 2 step mode set up using gear position rev limits EG: in park i can set a 2500rpm rev limit and 7000rpm in all other gears then just put a button that tells the PCM i'm in PARK and hopefully itll spit flames and send turbo into warp drive.

This could go horribly wrong being a BETA File  but its so worth testing i'll cross my fingers and start copying my old settings in to the new Binary, My current stuff is quite different to stock so might take a while.

Wow, that would be awesome!
Didnt realize you were stuck with an rpm limit like that.
Extra rpm helps heaps at the drags, will be well into the 13s if you can stretch it to 7500 or so.
