i recently picked up a one owner parker hale built .303

was issued, then they made the bro come back coz he was a shearer and they needed those, so he was dragged back to nz with his rifle where it sat in the hot water cupboard from then on. 

will have to give it a birthday and take some pics.

Good score.  Ive got a Parker Hale 30-06 - not quite as cool as yours but they're a good old unit.

This was reeeeal rough too the 303 stuff is easy to get here, im doing a resto now on a m1903 Springfield and its slow going trying to find parts here.

 

the forewood on my one is repro but some steel wool and boiled linseed oil did the job.

Brown 80s tiles had to go.

Nice solid timber, smashed a bit of ply on the end.

My mate gave me a beer fridge. 

It was a bit second hand on the outside and the bottom of the door was rusty so I did what any self respecting toyota owner does and painted over the rust.

Nah hes too worried about getting paint on his bare concrete. Once you have a painted floor you don't have to worry about that any more, cos just put another coat on

Built a standalone bar out of an old mantel from marketplace. Finally gonna get some use out of the spare lounge. That's pretty much been my Easter...

Yep mostly. Wine rack on bottom obvs but whisky botts are just good ones I'd kept in the garage. Liquor cabinet in main lounge has the real stuff.

Should fill them with cold tea... 😄

I only say cause that’s what mine would look like. Can’t seem to collect more than one at a time. Pretty sure someone pinches it…
